Personal appearance plays an important role as part of our total dance program. All students are required to dress
uniformly for their dance lesson. Class uniformity is strictly enforced. If you are unsure, consult with your teacher
BEFORE you make your purchase.
THE BALLET CLASS HAIR MUST BE PULLED BACK AND OFF THE FACE. A bun, ponytail or braids are most
suitable for classwork. All Ballet Students wear pink ballet shoes and “Ballet pink”
Capezio footed tights.
PRE-BALLET "Light Blue” scoop neck leotard. Capezio TB132C LBL.
“Ballet Pink” tights. Capezio #1815 Ultra Soft.
PRIMARY LEVEL Sleeveless black leotard Capezio #CC201C. No camisole or low back leotards
permitted. Leotard straps must be at least 1 1/2” wide. “Ballet pink” tights -
Capezio #1815 Ultra Soft.
ELEMENTARY LEVEL “Royal Blue” scoop neck sleeveless leotard - Major Motion style #2100 (color #564).
When taking two ballet classes weekly, this leotard will be worn in both classes.
“Ballet pink" Capezio #1815 Ultra Soft.
INTERMEDIATE "Hunter Green” cotton/lycra leotard. Leotards must be plain. NO spider backs or
double straps. This leotard will be worn in both their classes. Ballet Pink tights with seams
Capezio Mesh Transitions w/seams.
ADVANCED BALLET “

JAZZ & TAP CLASSES All JAZZ and TAP STUDENTS wear black leotards, footless black tights Capezio #1817
and thin white socks or tights. Leotards must be plain. NO spider backs or double
straps.
JAZZ STUDENTS wear
EJ2. Bloch #443, #405, or #SO495 (Tan)
TAP STUDENTS - Our younger dancers wear Bloch (Tap On) #S0302L in tan or
Capezio #3800 in
(Showtapper) #S0323L in tan. Teletone taps are recommended.
BOYS’ CLASSES Boys should wear white t-shirts, thin white socks and black dance pants or jogging
pants for all classes. All dance shoes should be black. Elementary level and above
should consult the teacher.
Please note: Any student having consecutive classes should wear the ballet uniform for both classes.
